Let’s Be Clear About Membership

You weren’t created to simply attend church; you were created to belong to God’s family and become who God designed you to be. At ClearView, we have two classes that introduce you to the heart of ClearView, what it means to be a member, and how God has uniquely gifted you to make a Kingdom impact.

Timeline of Membership

How to Become a Member of ClearView

  • 1

    Confess faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.

  • 2

    Have been baptized by immersion following faith in Jesus.

  • 3

    Be led of the Lord to join ClearView Baptist Church.

  • 4

    Complete “Let’s Be Clear about Membership: Belong and Become” classes.

  • 5

    Complete membership application and meet with a staff member.

  • 6

    Approved by church body in a quarterly business meeting.

Belong Class

Belong introduces you to the heart of ClearView, including our mission, values, beliefs, and what it means to be a member. This class happens on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in A-Building.

Become Class

Become is designed to help you explore how God uniquely created you, your spiritual gifts, your PLACE assessment, where you can serve, and how to make a Kingdom impact. This class happens on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in A-Building.

What We Expect of Members

Worship

Gather weekly with the church to worship, pray, hear God’s word, celebrate baptism, and observe the Lord’s Supper.

Groups

Build meaningful relationships and grow in community through a small group.

Gifts

Use the spiritual gifts God has given you to serve inside the church and wherever He has placed you.
