A Must Read Story - The Power of Living on Mission

Church family,

Living on mission is in the DNA of ClearView, and I am so thankful to be a small part of it. This week I came across a wonderful story of God doing a great work in the Hari family who has attended ClearView for many years. It's very special to see God work in a moment of time; it's even more amazing to see His work over an extended period of time. Of course, you and I know that He is always at work even when we can't see it.

I asked Robyn if I could share the message she posted on social media this week and she happily said yes.

"A little over four years ago our family spent Thanksgiving in Haiti serving with A Door to Hope. Both of our daughters fell in love with the people of Haiti and it would be the first of several trips there. A God ordained encounter happened at the airport with our good friends Mike and Missy Wilson who recently began their ministry MyLifeSpeaks in Neply, Haiti which included serving and advocating those with special needs. Savannah shared her desire to study Occupational Therapy after college. They needed OTs to share their skills in their therapy program. Fast forward and Savannah is graduating with her doctorate in Occupational Therapy in May. She is currently in Neply developing a therapy program that she will implement on her next extended visit in March. The Lord never ceases to amaze me with the way only He can orchestrate and weave the plans and encounters in our lives. Please pray for Savannah over these weeks. Pray that by using her education, knowledge, and skills, the people of Neply will see the love of the Father shining through." #weserveanawesomegod

Wow. Isn't that amazing? So awesome.

We send several teams a year to Haiti, and I am thankful for our partnership with Mike and Missy Wilson at myLIFEspeaks.

In November, we sent a team to serve during Thanksgiving week. Stephanie Johnston speaks about their time in a video interview, along with daily reports from different team members while they were serving. Check out the video, stories, and prayerfully consider getting involved. Currently, we have two spots available on the July team this year, sign up today!

Whether it's across the street in your neighborhood or around the world, how are you living on mission?

Because of God's greatness and grace,
