The Mission of Hope Church is the Great Commission. Jesus said to his disciples: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." How do we accomplish Mission? When we open God's Word and observe the early church we see every Christ follower living as disciple-making missionaries in the world. Therefore, we are busy GOING with the Gospel into our neighborhoods, into our city and to the nations; sharing the Good News as we build relationships and meet the needs of people we encounter. We are busy BAPTIZING those who come to faith in Christ. In baptism people publicly identify with Jesus in his death and resurrection and commit themselves to life with the church. We are also busy TEACHING people in our faith family to observe all that Christ has commanded. We teach through the preaching of God's Word, by example and in disciple making relationships.
