Disaster Relief Training

We have an excellent opportunity to respond in this time of need after Hurricane Harvey did some major damage in Houston.  We will be offering trainings and trips soon to help in the recovery efforts.  Please consider attending these trainings to be prepared to go.  Introduction to Disaster Relief is required for any of the specialized classes to be attended. 

The classes that will be offered are…
• Introduction to Disaster Relief 
• Rebuild
• Ashout Recovery

Cost: $36/person (Please bring Cash or Check written to Tennessee Baptist Mission Board)

The cost of a new 3 year (ID badge) credential is $36.00. The new badge will expire in three years (2020).This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID and background check but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take (except for First Aid classes and other specialized classes such as ServSafe, etc.). There will also be a new hat and a special Disaster Relief members pin given to those involved.

5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.                    Registration 

6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.                    Introduction to Disaster Relief

6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.                    Rebuild

7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.                    Ashout Recovery

Please register by March 11, 2018.

Forms Required at Registration, please have these filled out and ready at Registration:

Childcare: We will not be offering childcare for this event.  On Wednesday, March 14th the normally scheduled children's and student ministry activities will continue, but children must be picked up at the normal time.
