- Friday, October 17, 24, 31, at 1:00 p.m. Park Day at Pinkerton Park. Meet at the covered picnic tables close to the wooden playground. We will meet rain or shine..
- Friday, October 24, at 10:00 a.m. The Nashville Children's Theatre presents "Frankenstein." (Young Adult Classics Series) Adapted by Nick DiMartino from the book by Mary Shelley. Appropriate for: Grades 6 and up. Cost $7 per person.
- Monday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. We will have a tour of the Fire Station on HWY 96. This tour is designed for boys and girls from kindergarten through 4th grade, but everyone is welcome. (The fire station next to Vanderbilt Walk-in Clinic.) Sign-up with Gabrielle D. Jones gabrielledn@comcast.net
- Friday, October 31, from 10 a.m. till noon "Fall Fun Day" at the McDaniel's.
The Fun Day is geared towards preschool and elementary age, but older helpers would be welcome!! PLEASE RSVP BY OCTOBER 22ND to kristy_mcdaniel@charter.net or 615.364.2192.
- Saturday, November 1, Family Cook-out at The Jackson's - 4:00 p.m. - Each family needs to bring their own hot dogs and buns. Please call Debbie Jackson to sign-up for a side dish, paper products, drinks, or dessert and just to let her know you are coming. 791-0140 or stichinma@bellsouth.net Other items you might like to bring: lawn chairs, flash light, stick to cook your hot dog on.

- Grades 5-8 Licks, Riffs and Picks, Friday, November 14, at 10:15 a.m.
- Grades 3-4 Lemony Snicket's - The Composer is Dead, Friday, January 23, at 10:15.
- If you would like to go please let me know. I might be able to get more seats. If you need a description of the concerts go to www.nashvillesymphony.org and click on education. The concerts are free.
- There is a special presentation for grades 9 - 12. Michael Daugherty's - Metropolis Symphony - Giancarlo Guerrero, conducting, Friday, January 23, at 10:15. If you would like to go please let me know.

Location: Cumberland Mountain State Park, Crossville TN
Deposit for cabin is $82, due to Suzanne Willis by Sept 3. Each family has their own cabin.
