What Is "Upward Basketball?"
Upward Basketball is one of the most exciting evangelistic sports ministries in the country. Designed to promote community outreach and to develop volunteer leaders in your church, Upward Basketball uses something as simple as the game of basketball to reach children and their families for Christ. Upward Basketball is open to children in Kindergarten - 6th grades.
Upward Cheerleading
Specifically designed for K -- 6th grade girls, Upward Cheerleading seeks to develop the self-esteem of each participant, while teaching respect for authority, sportsmanship, character, and basketball skills.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Anyone registering after Tuesday Nov. 11th is not guaranteed a spot and will be put on a waiting list.
After Saturday, Nov 8th, the cost will be $110 for the first child and $100 for any additional siblings. Fees include complete uniforms and many take-home gifts for the participants!

2008-2009 Season Dates
Everyone must attend one of the following four sessions. Try to go to the location where your child is playing, however, you may attend either location.
Friday Oct 24 (5:30-7:30pm) or Saturday Oct 25 (9-11am) at Forest Hills
Friday Nov 7 (5:30-7:30pm) or Saturday 8 (9-11am) at ClearView
Participants should hear from their coach by the first week of December.
Practice Weeks (teams practice for 1 hour each week):
2008 - Weeks of Dec 8 and 15
2009 - Weeks of Jan 5 through Feb 23
Games (each Saturday for 1 hour):
Last game will be Feb 28, 2009
