Sunday School on Saturday Night

In Middle School Ministry, we seek to explore ways to teach students about the importance of being on mission for God. We also desire to teach students about church. We know that the church is not just what we do here on Wednesdays and Sundays, but so much more. It's not a building either. Church is a collection of God's people. We seek to develop this idea in the minds of Middle School students in practical ways.

One of the biggest ways we do this is called "Sunday School on Saturday Night" or "SOS".

Each Sunday morning Bible study class two times out of the year has their class meeting on Saturday night at one of the adult leaders houses. They fellowship and study the lesson they would have studied on the following Sunday Morning.

This gets the students thinking about the church in broader terms.

The other way this is beneficial is that it allows Sunday morning to be used to serve in either another part of the church or serve in some other way like to write cards to home bound members of the chruch, etc.

Sunday School on Sunday Night over all provides avenues for Middle School Students to learn, fellowship, and serve.
