What is MOPS?
MOPS or Mothers of Preschoolers is a group of women who have children birth through kindergarten and are looking for a place for support, fellowship and encouragement during this season of life.  MOPS began with a small group of women back in 1973 and now has grown into an international ministry that seeks to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.

When will MOPS meet?
MOPS will meet at ClearView the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 9:15-11:30 am.  Our first meeting will be September 5, 2012 and we’ll end our year on May 1, 2013.

What do you do at a MOPS meeting?
A typical MOPS meeting starts with food and fellowship followed by a speaker on topics pertaining to our roles as wife, mother, woman and friend.  The meeting ends in a time of discussion and prayer with a small group of women that you will sit with at each meeting.

What will my kids do while I am in a MOPS meeting?
The MOPS children’s program is called Moppets.  The Moppets will be in preschool classrooms being cared for by church staff childcare workers.  They will be taught Biblical truth and Bible stories.

How do I join MOPS?

First, you will need to complete a MOPS International Registration form for yourself and a Moppets registration form for each child participating in the program.  Forms are available for pick up at ClearView Baptist Church at the Reception Desk or sign up below to receive forms by email.

Return these completed forms with the NON REFUNDABLE registration fee ($21.95 by May 31st, $23.95 after that by mail to:

Are there other costs involved with MOPS?
In addition to the MOPS International fee there are also semester dues.  These dues help cover the childcare costs as well as general operating costs.  There are two semesters in our MOPS group at ClearView.  “First Semester” begins September 5th and “Second Semester” begins January 9th.  The dues for each semester are $45 and payment is due at the first meeting of each semester.  These will be prorated if you begin anytime after the semester starts.
